Where are the dimensions of your skimmers listed?

How accurate are the skimmer dimensions listed on the web pages?

We strive to be as accurate as possible. Our specified tolerance for a mandrel is +/-0.05mm for measurements and +/-0.2° for angles.

How do you calculate the length of the skimmer, depending on orifice size?

Given the mathematics involved, the smaller the orifice size, the longer the skimmer; and the inverse is true of the large orifice sizes.

Using a Model 2 as an example, the uncut cone length is 25.4mm (A); a skimmer with a 0.5 mm orifice (D) will be 24.27mm long

         25.4mm (A) - (0.5mm (D) * 2.26) = 24.27mm

Using a Model 2 as an example, the uncut cone length is 25.4mm (A); a skimmer with a 3.0 mm orifice (D) will be 18.62mm long

         25.4mm (A) - (3.0mm (D)  * 2.26) = 18.62mm
